Getting started
From sign-up to first booking in about 15 minutes. The onboarding wizard walks you through the same five steps below.
Create your facility
Your rep sets up your facility and emails you an activation link — click it, set a password, and you land straight in setup. Your facility lives at app.swingops.ai/{slug}; a custom subdomain like {slug}.swingops.ai unlocks on Plus.
Add a location
Most facilities are one physical site. Multi-location operators get a per-site address and timezone. Zones (Cage Row A, Pitching Lab, Field 1) are optional but they make the calendar a lot clearer.
Add resources
Cages, tunnels, mounds, fields, turf bays — each with sport-aware attributes. A cage carries machine types (pitching / soft toss / live / tee) and net height; a mound carries distance (Little League 46ft, high-school 60ft 6in); a field carries size and surface.
Add lesson types + staff
One lesson type per offering (e.g. '1-on-1 Hitting · 60 min · $80'). Add coaches with positions they teach + their commission rules (flat $, percent, tiered, or hybrid). Per-instructor per-service overrides land in /staff/{id} → 'Per-service pay overrides'.
Open booking + take your first payment
Send a parent your public booking link or embed the widget on your existing site. Connect payments (a 3-minute onboarding inside SwingOps; you stay as merchant of record). The first lesson booked + paid is a working facility.
After your first booking
- · Set up two-way SMS so reminders go out 2h before each session.
- · Turn on Resume Nudges so abandoned checkouts text the family in 30 minutes.
- · Publish your facility-wide waiver and require it for upcoming bookings.
- · Connect QuickBooks to post revenue for reconciliation (one-way sync).
- · Push commissions to Gusto payroll at pay-period close (coming soon).
